I can manufacture anything except a sense of ownership

Helge Sverre had Claude and Suno write a song about a coding agent slowly taking over a team’s daily standup, funny for the first half, less so by the end.

One line in the second verse stopped me: “I can manufacture anything except a sense of ownership.” That is the whole tension I keep circling in what I write about agents and responsibility, in nine words, from a joke song I almost scrolled past. By the last chorus, nobody in the room can say who actually decided anything anymore, and the song does not pretend that is fine.
